The day-to-day management of the company is taken care of by a co-CEO team, who both retain their executive positions as CCO and CFO respectively. They are assisted by their departmental heads.
Jahn has been the CFO of Commodity Supplies AG since 2015. As part of his role, he has taken a keen interest in the digitalization of the company’s internal processes and has been actively involved in the design of Cargoo.
Previously, he had worked as Finance Director at Tate & Lyle Sugars as well as ED&F Man Sugars for a total of eight years in London, after having held various senior financial positions at Volcafé Ltd, the world’s second largest coffee trade house.
Earlier in his career, Jahn developed a new system for the central clearing of exchange traded financial derivatives, developed a Black-Scholes based valuation system for physical, futures and options positions, and had also worked as a part-time business school lecturer.
Zürich born and educated at AKAD, Jahn is a Swiss Chartered Accountant and a Swiss Federal Expert in Accounting and Controlling.
Roland is the Founder and Chairman of the Board at Commodity Supplies.
He established Commodity Supplies in 1997 to offer a unique freight pooling concept to the customers. The business has continuously expanded and offers logistics procurement to companies around the globe. Prior to founding Commodity Supplies, Roland was head of freight procurement at Volcafé Ltd, a world renowned Swiss coffee trading and production group.
Roland is passionate about logistics and supply chain management and has a keen sense of how technology can improve traditional silo-based planning and execution.
Ingo has been a member of the Cargoo AG Executive Board since 2020, and of NEXUS AG Executive Board since 2000, holding the position of Chairman of the Executive Board since 2002.
He gained international experience in business IT in various commercial and technical functions at Siemens AG between 1992 and 2000 where he was responsible for larger software development projects and international customer projects.
He studied business administration and information science and completed an MBA course (with a Fulbright scholarship) at Clark University, Massachusetts, USA. He completed his doctorate in software architecture at the Technical University of Berlin.
