Commodity Supplies at SCTA 2026: Control Tower for a coffee world in constant motion
At the 17th SCTA Forum in Montreux, green coffee traders and roasters asked for more control amid disruption. Our Control Tower service is built for exactly that.

The 17th Swiss Coffee Trade Association (SCTA) Forum brought the coffee trade together in Montreux on 1–2 October 2026 under the theme “Performance Unlocked: Winning & Leading in the New Coffee Economy”. Our Head of Commodities, José Luis Pérez, joined the panel “From Bottlenecks to Flow: Rethinking Coffee Logistics in an Increasingly Volatile World”.
What we heard
Conversations with traders and roasters kept returning to the same needs: closer collaboration across the supply chain, firm control of costs like demurrage & detention, a clear plan for 2027 ocean freight, and more control in times of constant disruption.
How our Control Tower answers it
Our Control Tower combines digital visibility, regional operations and dedicated ocean freight expertise in one service. A dedicated team steers your shipments end to end, together with Freight Execution on the ground, and flags disruptions early.
End-to-end visibility: every shipment, document and container in one view, powered by the Cargoo platform.
Early warnings: delays, corridor risks and exceptions flagged before they hit your plan.
Hands-on response: our team works each exception with carriers and partners and keeps you informed.
Cost control: demurrage & detention tracked as it builds up, with Freight Audit handling disputes.
Thank you to the SCTA team, the speakers and everyone who joined the conversation in Montreux.
